BtL are pleased to formally announce the launch of Push to Talk.Push to Talk turns your mobile phone into a Walkie Talkie. You can speak to individual contacts or pre-defined broadcast groups simply by pushing a button. Optionally it can include an emergency alert feature and location tracking.
By using existing mobile phones instead of dedicated walkie-talkie radios, Push To Talk allows you to better manage equipment costs as staff need only carry one device. Push to Talk will also help you to comply with lone worker regulations, helping to keep your staff safe.
Combining the location service with Push to Talk allows you to keep track of your field force and for them to easily communicate both back to the office and with colleagues. Instead of calling several colleagues relaying information or asking a question imagine speaking to all of them at the same time.
Call quality is an immediate question that may come to mind. How does it work? What happens if I am in a poor coverage area? Call us for more detail, but simply, quality is guaranteed anywhere there is any sort of mobile data coverage, even if it is intermittent. This is true EVEN WHEN coverage is too poor to make normal mobile calls and it’s global!!!
