BtL's Education Solution is an affordable secure way for teachers to communicate inside and outside the school grounds. Our Education Solution allows teachers and pupils to be protected from any form of attack. There are five primary requirements in the education sector for Btl's Education Solution:
- Lone Worker teacher protection

- Playground child watch
- School trip management
- Sports day and school event management
The BtL Instant Communication Solution is delivered as a simple playground child watch pack which comprises of 8 BtL BB3G handsets (plus the BtL BB3G earphones) in an aluminium case and a PC client or clients for the sale admin office.
Instant talk allows the control room/administration office to communicate with the teacher or listen to any disruption or disturbance. Instant talk works in a similar way to a two-way radio however the voice message is carried over your national data network in packets making voice messages secure and improving sound quality.
Instant Locate these handsets have the ability to let you locate and communicate with your remote staff. BtL's instant locate shows where each field worker is on a Google map.Instant Locate also helps to protect school staff and pupils when outside of the school ground's.
BtL's Instant Alert enables a teacher to initiate an alert at the press of a button on their laptop which will set off an alarm on a number of chosen PC's in the school. The instant alert service is always connected to an open data channel on the mobile network giving users the fastest way to raise an alarm in the event of an emergency.
A local government survey concerning the level of violence, disruption, and absence caused to teachers concluded that in the last year:
- 92% of teachers have been subjected to verbal abuse
- 49% of teachers have been physically abused
- 53% have been assaulted with a thrown item.
- 1 teacher is hospitalised almost every day.
It's also known that outside of the school grounds in the last year there were:
- 1278 registered sex offender in local school areas
- 1500 serious injuries
- 120 call outs by mountain rescue
- 13 abductions
