BtL's PTT Lone Worker Taxi Solution enables companies to ensure that their workers are kept safe and also that their businesses complies with the Lone Worker legislation set out by the government. Any company or business who fails to comply with the UK Lone Worker legislation could face up to two years imprisonment, fines of up to 10% of turnover for 5 years, and a compulsory publicity order.
The need for wide area in-cab voice communications between taxi dispatch and the taxi fleet is well accepted and perhaps most easily demonstrated by routine activities such as airport trips.
